The final decision of a potential customer to do business with you depends largely on the power of your proposal. While a very powerful and well-written proposal would easily convince a prospect to buy bulk SMS units from you, a weak and poorly written one would fail woefully.
So, it’s very important that you understand how to write proposals that will help attract quality customers to your business.
Here are the steps you should follow while crafting your proposal:
1. Introduce bulk SMS to the potential customer
Never assume that your customer already understands what bulk SMS is. Start your proposal with a brief explanation of bulk SMS and how it works. Also explain how bulk SMS messages are sent and how bulk SMS units can be easily acquired.
By educating your customers this way, you’ll win their interest and up your chances of converting them into customers.
2. Focus on the benefits
Rather than sugarcoat your services with glorifying accolades that won’t sell anyone, let your prospects know how they can benefit from bulk SMS.
Mention all the advantages of bulk SMS over traditional SMS sent via mobile networks. State the convenience advantage. State the fact that bulk SMS allows for custom branding of messages. State the fact that thousands of recipients can be reached at once. And state every other benefit that the prospect can gain from bulk SMS.
If you don’t state these benefits clearly, your prospects won’t see any reason for them to buy what you’re selling.
3. Introduce your business
Of course, your main aim of writing a proposal is to convert a prospect. So, you must let the recipient know about your business.
State the name of your business and the services you render. Also state every information that people may want to know about your business.
In addition, include your contact details – your phone number, email address, and website address.
4. State your Unique Selling Proposition
In your proposal, you must state those reasons why your business is better than the competition and why it should be given preference. Also mention some of the shortcomings of your rivals that your business is free of.
If you have any bonus or discount offer, tell the prospect about it as well.
By giving the prospect these details, they’ll be compelled to do business with you rather than seek alternatives.
5. Add your prices and call-to-action
One mistake many people make in their proposals is telling the prospect to call or contact them alternatively for further enquiries regarding the prices of their products or services. This is a bad methodology.
In your proposal, state the prices so that the prospect would quickly check his budget.
Also, add call-to-action statements such as “contact us now for your 10 free SMS units” or “Call us on 080XXXXXXX”. These statements have a very powerful effect on prospects. So, never underestimate them.
With the five tips shared so far, you’ll be able to write a proposal that would convince your prospects an convert them into loyal customers.
